Reviving Lining deVinne. Designed for the renowned printer Theodore Low De Vinne and first released by Central Type Foundry around 1892. Credited variously to Gustav F. Schroeder and Nicholas J. Werner, though Werner attributed the design to Schroeder and then extended the family. Learned how type works and added my own vision to Lining deVinne with these 2 extremes.
This is the first extreme called Zwoel. It has this more organic swing to it and focusses more on the contrasts in the original Lining deVinne.
This one is based on LEGO's and the build of the original letter.
